Who runs this site

This is the personal portfolio of Jayasakthi, a software developer based in Chennai, India. For anything related to this policy or your data, email jayasakthidharmarajan@gmail.com. I am the only person who operates this site and the only person who reads what you send through it.

What is collected, and why

This site collects as little as a website can. In full:

  • Contact-form submissions. If the contact form is enabled and you use it, your name, email address, and message are emailed to me so I can reply. That is the only use. They are not added to mailing lists, shared, or sold.
  • Server logs. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, request path, timestamps) for operating and securing its platform.
  • Optional analytics. If Vercel Analytics is enabled, it records anonymous, aggregated page-view metrics. It is cookieless and does not identify or track individual visitors across sites.

There are no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, and no third-party marketing scripts here, and no data is ever sold to anyone.

Data from GitHub (not about you)

The projects page displays my public repositories by calling GitHub's public API from this site's server and your browser to GitHub. That request fetches my data — no information about you is sent to GitHub beyond the ordinary network request your browser makes, governed by GitHub's privacy statement. The contributions heatmap is fetched the same way from a public contributions API.

Retention

Contact-form messages live in my email inbox and are kept only as long as a conversation is useful, after which they are deleted. This site itself stores nothing about you on a server — it has no database and no user accounts.

Your rights

If you have ever sent me a message, you can ask what I hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for it to be deleted — email jayasakthidharmarajan@gmail.com and I will action it promptly. This policy is written to be compatible in spirit with the GDPR and India's DPDP Act: minimal collection, a clear purpose, and easy deletion.

Third-party processors

The complete list of services that may touch data on this site:

  • Vercel — hosting, server logs, and optional anonymous analytics.
  • GitHub — source of the public repository data shown on the projects page.
  • Resend — only if the contact form is active; it relays the form submission as an email to me.

Changes to this policy

If the site gains a feature that changes what it collects, this page will be updated first and the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be visible right here — there is no silent fine print.
